A peek at the building, October 2026.
In 2021 we fully revitalised the building, removing decades of dirt and debris. We rewired the entire building and put in fresh replacement skylights that throw an abundance of yummy sunlight into the space.
Downstairs has undergone less transformation but still had a VERY big scrub when we first moved in. It's had a very nice kitchen and bathroom upgrade though!
We've taken great pride and care with the building. Here are some things we're most proud of.
The floor upstairs had rotted out over the 100+ years of its life. We replaced large chunks of it with the same reclaimed hardwood species from a factory getting knocked down nearby.

Same roof, 2021 and now.

We built a proper accessible bathroom downstairs and transformed the brick wall – layered with decades of paint – into a feature wall.
Pixel was a production company we started 20 years ago, making music videos, animated films and commercials. Aberdeen Rd was its final (and by far its best) home.
In 2023 we moved on to our new adventure, “Nounish”, hanging up our traditional film and TV capes and stepping bravely into the new world of YouTube.
We make shows with artists, and most of them are shot right here in the building!
We’ve poured a lot of love into this building over the years, and it’s given so much more back. We’re very proud of it!
It was a huge part of what made Pixel Pixel, and it’s an even bigger part of what Nounish is becoming. For all the humans behind both, it’s become part of our identity.
Your building is in good hands. I genuinely don’t think it’ll ever be in better ones :)
